Are you ready to increase your industry involvement? The SEMA Hot Rod Industry Alliance (HRIA) is accepting applications to join its select committee. Applications close Friday, April 18, at sema.org/volunteer.
Select committee members play a vital role in the council’s success by bringing insight and knowledge to help SEMA staff create valuable programs, events, and educational opportunities that support HRIA members. By lending just a few hours a month, volunteers build meaningful professional connections, gain leadership skills, increase industry knowledge, and play a direct role in connecting and educating hot rod industry professionals.
Applicants must be employed by a SEMA member company, be an HRIA member, and be willing to serve a two-year term. Elected members contribute 5-10 hours per month, depending on their volunteer commitments. Strong planning skills and aftermarket knowledge are helpful, but the most desired trait is a passion for giving back to the industry.
