Since HRIA Education Days began back in 1997, the Hot Rod Industry Alliance (HRIA) has been providing manufacturers in the hot-rod segment a chance to share their expertise through face-to-face educational seminars with industry enthusiasts. What was once a small trade show eventually grew into the Hot Rod and Restoration Trade Show in Indianapolis, and HRIA manufacturer seminars became a major component of the event. At its high point, Education Days once hosted 42 seminars over two days.

HRIA Education Days re-located to various venues before settling into its current home at the National Street Rod Association (NSRA) Nationals in Louisville, KY.  Moving the program to the Nationals allowed the Education Days Program to expand its reach and include consumers, and participation and attendance has grown every year since.

HRIA Education Days will return to Louisville in August 2020, where 12 manufacturers will host 12 seminars over two days on Thursday and Friday of the Nationals. Manufacturers have not yet been confirmed, so if you are interested in knowing more, contact the Education Days task force volunteers Josh Mishler of Advanced Plating josh@advancedplating.com or Joel Kokoska of Johnson’s Hot Rod Shop joel@johnsonshotrodshop.com.
