Recognition plays an important role in preserving and advancing the hot rod industry. Each year, the Hot Rod Industry Alliance (HRIA) Awards Program honors companies and individuals whose innovation, leadership and service help drive the aftermarket forward. Nominations open Monday, June 29, at sema.org/cn-awards.

The HRIA Awards Program offers a unique opportunity to recognize the people and businesses making a lasting impact on the hot rod market. Whether it is a business demonstrating exceptional ethics and service, an individual volunteering their time and expertise to support the council or an industry veteran whose contributions have shaped the hot rod industry, these awards shine a spotlight on those helping elevate the industry.

This year’s honors include the HRIA Hall of Fame, which honors outstanding individuals in the hot rod industry whose creativity, dignity, integrity, industriousness and accomplishments on a national basis have enhanced the status of the industry while significantly contributing to its growth.

The HRIA Recognition Award celebrates an individual who has made an exceptional contribution to the hot rod industry over the past 10 years. Eligible nominees must be an employee or owner of an HRIA member company.

The HRIA Business of the Year Award recognizes a company that has made an exceptional contribution to the hot rod industry. Eligible companies must have demonstrated exceptional service, integrity and business ethics.

Why You Should Nominate

The success of the hot rod industry depends on the people and businesses willing to lead, innovate and give back. By submitting a nomination, you help ensure outstanding contributions are recognized while reinforcing the values that continue to strengthen the HRIA community. Honoring these leaders not only celebrates their achievements but also inspires the next generation of builders, manufacturers and advocates.

Do you know an individual, mentor, volunteer or company that deserves recognition? Nominate them starting Monday, June 29, at sema.org/cn-awards.

Nominations for the 2026 HRIA Design & Innovation Award and Evolution of Hot Rodding Award will open later this year.
