Being an FLN member has many benefits. In addition to programs that foster career growth such as the Professional Development Program (PDP), member spotlight opportunities and volunteer opportunities, members cite in-person networking events as one of their favorite programs.

While the pandemic forced events to go virtual, in-person events are back in full swing with more councils and networks collaborating and participating than ever before.

FLN members recently hosted two cross-council and network mixers at the Keystone Big Show and King of the Hammers. The events were held in conjunction with the SBN, WTC, TORA, and PRO – whose members had the chance to mix and mingle and build strong relationships with those in different markets.

"Virtual networking events were – and still continue to be – a great solution to help members across the country stay connected. However, the quality and excitement of an in-person event is incomparable to connecting through a screen," said Denise Waddingham, FLN Director. "Being able to connect in person allows for deeper, more meaningful conversations and relationships. These events bring exciting opportunities for industry members to make new friends, enjoy stories and laughs, and join together through a common passion for the automotive aftermarket."
