Jordan Mosher, director of digital marketing at Diode Dynamics, was named the SEMA Future Leaders Network (FLN) 2025 Professional of the Year. The award recognizes an individual who has made a positive impact on the automotive aftermarket through exceptional service, integrity, professional growth, business ethics and contributions to the industry’s future.
For Mosher, the recognition is meaningful not only because of what he has accomplished, but also because of how he has approached his career: by taking on new challenges, investing in others and looking for ways to contribute to the aftermarket.
Still relatively early in his career, Mosher says receiving the award was especially validating.
“I’ve been fortunate to get a lot of opportunities and responsibility in a relatively short amount of time,” he explains. What made the recognition even more meaningful was that his nomination highlighted leadership, helping others grow and involvement in the industry—priorities he has intentionally embraced throughout his career.
Developing others has shaped Mosher’s leadership philosophy. Rather than believing a leader needs to have all the answers, he focuses on giving people the context, resources and confidence to find solutions themselves. Having benefited from leaders who trusted him with opportunities before he felt completely ready, he strives to provide those same opportunities to others.
That philosophy was evident when he brought a team member to FLN’s Professional Development Program. Having experienced the program himself, Mosher understood the value of stepping outside the day-to-day company environment, building relationships and gaining a broader perspective on the aftermarket. That team member has since grown into a leadership role of his own, a result Mosher considers especially rewarding.
Over the past year, Mosher’s responsibilities have expanded significantly, moving beyond digital marketing execution into e-commerce, product launches, data, project management and broader marketing strategy. His accomplishments include transformational projects for Diode Dynamics, including an e-commerce platform migration and rebuilding product data and systems.
With that growth came an important lesson: leadership does not always come with a blueprint. Mosher has learned to make decisions with the information available, create clarity, build processes along the way and adjust when necessary.
For fellow FLN members looking to grow, his advice is straightforward: say yes to opportunities that stretch you, lead before you have the title, get involved beyond your company and stay curious.
Looking ahead, Mosher hopes to continue developing into a broader strategic leader while building relationships, helping young professionals find their footing in the aftermarket and making an impact.
