On Thursday, July 31, the SEMA Future Leaders Network (FLN) hosted a Lunch and Learn webinar focused on protecting and monetizing intellectual property (IP). The session, titled "Protecting Your Brands, Inventions, and Innovations," was led by legal and business experts Jeffrey Banyas, U.S. patent attorney and manager of legal production at Sisson & Banyas, and Ifti Zaim, counsel at Irwin IP (now part of Miller Johnson).
Attendees gained valuable insights into safeguarding trademarks, patents and proprietary ideas as well as practical strategies for turning intellectual property into revenue-generating assets.
The interactive session equipped participants with the tools needed to navigate the complexities of IP protection and emphasized the importance of early action in securing their creative work.
