The 2026 SEMA Show will offer plenty of opportunities to network, learn and advance your career. The Future Leaders Network (FLN) will host a reception and education session on professional development, but you shouldn’t limit yourself to these opportunities.

To make the most of your SEMA Show week, FLN encourages you to step outside your usual circle. Listed below are opportunities to take advantage of.

Expand Your Route

As you plan your schedule, make it a goal to attend an event hosted by another council or network, stop by a council booth or attend an education session outside your area of expertise. Attending something new is one of the best ways to broaden your perspective or meet other council and network members who share your passion for the industry.

Learn Outside Your Lane

Attending seminars relevant to your career and business should be a priority, but if time allows, consider attending a seminar outside your area of expertise. You may discover new ideas that you can apply to your business or walk away with solutions to a business problem you haven’t considered previously.

Take Time to Explore

Beyond meetings and networking events, the SEMA Show offers featured events and experiences throughout the week, including:

  • SEMA Show Kickoff Breakfast, November 3, at 7:00 a.m. local time
  • New Products Showcase, located in Lower South Hall near the main registration
  • SEMA FutureTech Studio, located in booth #24401
  • SEMA Battle of the Builders Presented by Mothers High Performance Car Care, located in booth #24743
  • SEMA Collision Repair Stage, located in booth #32145
  • Members Lounge, located in room N251 on the second level of North Hall

Make Your Connections Last

Your FLN connections are important, but they don’t have to define your entire network. The people you meet through other councils, networks, companies and experiences can become mentors, collaborators, customers, future colleagues and friends.

When you meet someone new, remember to exchange phone numbers, LinkedIn profiles or business cards, and follow up following the SEMA Show to establish the relationship. The SEMA Show is your chance to grow your professional circle, both within FLN and the broader industry, so make it count.
