SEMA Show feature vehicle builders have until Wednesday, October 28, to submit an entry for the 2026 SEMA Best Engineered Vehicle of the Year Award. If you’re showcasing a feature vehicle at this year’s SEMA Show that demonstrates quality engineering, now’s your chance to gain industry-wide recognition for your ingenuity.
The SEMA Best Engineered Vehicle of the Year Award honors a featured vehicle at the 2026 SEMA Show that demonstrates exceptional engineering throughout the entire vehicle or in an aspect of the vehicle that goes beyond physical appearance. It also aims to inspire more engineers to enter the automotive aftermarket by highlighting their impact on the automotive specialty-equipment industry and spotlighting the symbiotic relationship between a vehicle's design and engineering.
For builders and engineers, winning the award is an opportunity to showcase their talent, vision and technical expertise to the global automotive aftermarket community. The winner will receive a trophy presented at SEMA Central and will be spotlighted through SEMA communications, including SEMA News, providing additional exposure for the vehicle, the team behind it and their technical capabilities.
Applications Due This Month
To be considered for the award, builders must upload a photo, video and description of the engineering content included in the build, as well as the location of the vehicle displayed at the SEMA Show. Entries are being accepted until Wednesday, October 28, at this link.
