Nominations are now open for the 2025 SEMA Best Engineered Vehicle of the Year Award, giving builders the opportunity to showcase the innovation and technical excellence that drive the automotive aftermarket forward. More than just a recognition of style, this award highlights the engineering brilliance that transforms vehicles into benchmarks of performance, integration and ingenuity.
Now in its third year, the award honors a vehicle featured at the 2025 SEMA Show, November 4–7 in Las Vegas, that demonstrates exceptional engineering across the entire build—or within a single component that pushes boundaries. By placing engineering in the spotlight, the award underscores the vital role that technical expertise plays in shaping the industry, while inspiring the next generation of engineers to join and advance the automotive aftermarket.
Builders are encouraged to submit nominations by Wednesday, October 29. To be considered, entries must include a photo, video and description of the vehicle’s engineering content, along with the location of the display at the SEMA Show.
The award will be presented on Thursday, November 6, at 10:30 a.m. in SEMA Central, where the winning build will be celebrated among industry leaders and peers.
From innovative drivetrains to advanced control systems, the SEMA Best Engineered Vehicle Award is about recognizing the technical creativity that elevates our industry beyond appearance alone.
