The Emerging Trends and Technology Network (ETTN) is excited to announce its 2025–2027 strategic plan, designed to elevate member engagement, expand educational offerings, and strengthen industry connections through innovative initiatives.
Membership
To foster stronger connections, ETTN will launch the Pick Up the Phone initiative in 2025, encouraging more direct member outreach. A new Facebook group will also be introduced, providing a dynamic platform for conversation and networking. The Membership Committee will develop at least three months of content to jumpstart engaging discussions.
Virtual Education
ETTN has moved its virtual education library to a YouTube playlist, making the technical expert series more accessible than ever. Check out the playlist here.
ETTN is looking for members to provide feedback on topics they would like to learn more about in the 2026 series. Email NicoleB@sema.org with your topics.
In-Person Events
Two new task forces are set to design impactful in-person events.
- The In-Person Event Task Force, led by Co-Chairs Chris and Nick, alongside Bob and Kelleigh, will craft a comprehensive event proposal with a launch date in 2027.
- The Formula SEMA Task Force, chaired by Greg with support from Nick, Justin, Bob, and Kelleigh, will also develop an event proposal tied to an existing industry event, requiring vehicle participation and clear success metrics. Planning for both events begins in 2025.
Communications
ETTN will enhance outreach with a robust content calendar and a multi-pronged marketing campaign in 2025, focused on promoting membership and sharing aftermarket trends. A strategy to spotlight ETTN members and their contributions is also in development, with plans to feature educational and tech-forward content from member companies starting in 2026.
These initiatives signal ETTN’s commitment to growth, innovation, and value for its members in the years ahead.
