July 13, 2018 is Collector Car Appreciation Day, marking the ninth annual commemoration to recognize and raise awareness of the collector car hobby as an integral part of American culture. CCAD is an annual celebration to raise awareness of the role automotive restoration and collection plays in American society. The day was first recognized on July 9, 2010 due, in part, to U.S. Senate resolution S. Res 513, sponsored by Senators Jon Tester and Richard Burr.

ARMO members are encouraged to participate in the celebration by driving their collector, classic or hot rod to work or wherever the day takes them. If you have an event planned specific to CCAD, be sure to register it with the SEMA Automotive Network so it can be included in their promotions. www.semasan.com/ccad You may also send photos via comments to the ARMO Face Book page. Enjoy the day!
