Making Congress Aware

On May 16th, ARMO Select Committee Members Tray Smith, Ben Tucker, Joanna Agosta Shere and Larry Brogdin took to Capitol Hill in Washington DC to speak with members of Congress about the Specialty Aftermarket and the many legislative issues affecting industry companies.  Their visit was accompanied with dozens of other distinguished SEMA members as part of the SEMA Washington Rally, to ensure that Congressional leaders are educated about topics like the RPM Act, tariff concerns, low volume manufacturing, damaging effects of E15 and other topics that directly impact restoration companies and hobbyists.

“The Washington Rally is one of the best benefits provided by SEMA.  The event not only makes the government accessible to the member, but SEMA also takes care of all the details making the visits easy and comfortable.  I highly recommend taking the time from your business to experience this event.,” says Joanna Agosta Shere, three-time Rally attendee. The next Washington Rally is scheduled for 2020.

Danny Agosta and Joanna Shere Agosta, both from Steele Rubber Products, along with Larry Brogdin of Dynacorn International LLC, Tray Smith of H&H Classic Parts, Ben Tucker of Camaro Central, and Jim Skelly from SEMA, prepare for the Washington Rally.
