The finals of the 2015 SEMA Battle of the Builders will take place Friday, November 6, at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, but master craftsmen and vehicle owners were queued up well in advance to sign up for a chance to claim the winner’s trophy. Entries began to be posted at the official SEMA Ignited website (www.SEMAignited.com) in August, and while the determination of final status was also dependent on each entry landing a spot as a display, feature or booth vehicle at the Show, early indications pointed to another strong field.
In addition to being one of the world’s largest trade events, the SEMA Show is a car show like no other. Automotive specialty-equipment manufacturers from throughout the world exhibit their wares on some of the most finely crafted vehicles in existence, and many are on display for the first time anywhere.
The feature vehicles shown in this listing and online will appear in exhibitor booths and in display areas throughout the Las Vegas Convention Center and the adjacent outdoor grounds. Check them out in person—and, in many cases, see how they turned out—when you get to the SEMA Show!
3M has challenged all graphics experts to showcase their talents using 3M Wrap Film Series 1080 and face off in the Wrap2Wrap Battle. Installers began competing in online knockout rounds in August, and two finalists will go head-to-head, Thursday, November 6, at the 2014 SEMA Show.
Car-Care and Restyling Products From the 2013 SEMA Show
From classic cars to today’s modern muscle, every automobile requires care, and each can also benefit from components that may subtly or outrageously change a vehicle’s appearance. At the 2013 SEMA Show, dozens of products were displayed under the car-care and restyling classifications in the New Products Showcase. The range of innovation ran from spoiler sunroofs and body side moldings to polishes, waxes and protective films. We’ve gathered the full contingent for your perusal here, along with comments on industry trends from a few executives who represent some of the industry’s leading car-care companies.
The West Coast Customs Experience (Booth #11293) will include master classes, live performances, guest appearances and prize giveaways.
Serving on the Select Committee or as chairman of a council is a huge honor. It signifies that you’ve earned the confidence and respect of your peers. It also gives you an opportunity to be closely involved in the issues affecting your industry and to have a part in shaping how those issues are addressed. I’ve been privileged to serve as a member of the Professional Restylers Organization (PRO) Select Committee since 2000. I’ve also joined the ranks of the few who have become the chairman of PRO. As I’ve worked for the council for the last few months of my term as chairman, I wanted to share some thoughts on volunteer leadership.
The SEMA Show is the premier destination for buyers in the

for their customers. In 2009, 25,086 buyers went to Las Vegas
specifically to bring the newest restyling and car care offerings from
the SEMA Show floor into their own retail shops. Exhibitors in the
Restyling & Car Care section registered 105 products in the New
Products Showcase, and buyers scanned those entries more than 4,874
