Each year at the Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Trade Show, the Motorsports Parts Manufacturers Council (MPMC) puts together an entire week of activity that includes a general membership meeting, two seminars, and a Friday-evening reception that includes the induction of new MPMC Hall of Fame members.

The Motorsports Parts Manufacturers Council (MPMC) members have a busy winter season ahead. Just weeks after the SEMA Show, MPMC members will be packing their bags for Indianapolis for a week full of exhibiting, customer meetings, networking and MPMC-sponsored educational seminars at the Performance Racing Industry (PRI) show in Indianapolis, December 7–9, 2017.
The Motorsports Parts Manufacturers Council (MPMC) welcomes a new chair and chair-elect on July 1. Jason Bruce of Holley Performance Products becomes the group’s new chairman, and Sean Crawford of JE Pistons was elected as the new chair-elect. The MPMC represents companies that manufacture motorsports parts, providing education, resources and programs aimed to better the motorsports industry.

This past December, the council held four educational seminars along with a general membership meeting and a networking reception at the Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Trade Show in Indianapolis.
The Motorsports Parts Manufacturers Council (MPMC) Hall of Fame immortalizes those who have made a significant contribution to the MPMC or to the motorsports parts manufacturing segment as a whole. Three MPMC Hall of Fame inductees were honored during an evening reception at the Performance Racing Industry Show in the Indiana Convention Center.
After 18 years of success, the SEMA Motorsports Parts Manufacturers Council’s (MPMC) annual Media Trade Conference (MTC) is still going strong. Every January, the conference takes place at an Embassy Suites in Southern California, where 100 MPMC members set up meeting space in their own individual suites and host 30-minute meetings with journalists.
The Motorsports Parts Manufacturers Council (MPMC) pursued a wide-ranging agenda at the 2014 Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Trade Show held December 11–13 in Indianapolis. The first-ever MPMC open meeting was held on the Wednesday before the show and featured SEMA Data Co-op (SDC) Membership Director Jim Graven, who shared how manufacturers can benefit from organizing their product data through the SDC.
The Motorsports Parts Manufacturers Council (MPMC) holds its Media Trade Conference each January. The event is designed to bring together editorial staffs with racing and high-performance parts manufacturers for three days of face-to-face, 30-minute meetings. Rich Barsamian, MPMC chair, has exhibited at the event seven times and explained that the council’s goal in offering the conference is to help council members gain exposure.
The fall and winter months are busy for members of SEMA’s Motorsports Parts Manufacturers Council (MPMC), as many exhibit at both the SEMA Show in Las Vegas and the Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Show in Indianapolis. These shows represent two of the biggest weeks of the year for MPMC members. Though much of the council’s focus is placed on preparing a lineup of events for the December PRI Show, MPMC will also power two seminars at the 2014 SEMA Show. Eugene Zelek Jr., co-chair of the antitrust and trade regulation group for Freeborn & Peters LLP, has designed these back-to-back sessions to help members navigate the ins and outs of pricing policies.
The Motorsports Parts Manufacturers Council (MPMC) made the most of the Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Show in Indianapolis during December, gathering together some of the motorsports industry’s leading manufacturers. The day before the show officially opened, attendees had the opportunity to meet face to face with MPMC-member manufacturers for an education day packed with workshops on installations, new products, marketing, selling techniques and tips for running a successful high-performance business.
