Chicago Pneumatic announced that Philip Warmbier joined the team as business line manager at the company’s headquarters in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Warmbier will direct the Chicago Pneumatic sales teams in the North American territory, which includes the United States, Canada and Mexico. The team services industrial and vehicle clients. Allen Selzler
 
   

Continental named Allen Selzler sales technical training specialist for Continental Automotive’s interior division in its commercial vehicles and aftermarket business unit. In that role, Selzler will be responsible for the organization, coordination and execution of regional presentations and demonstrations with prospective and existing customers. In addition to planning and hosting training events, Selzler will be tasked with supporting sales-team personnel, establishing sales leads generated from training sessions, developing installation instructions, and building and maintaining customer relationships. Directed relocated its Canadian headquarters to a new facility at 2113 32nd Ave. in Lachine, Quebec, Canada, to accommodate expanded company growth. The building houses Directed’s global product development and Canadian sales, distribution and administrative functions. The facility features a modern, open office layout for better communication and collaboration among Directed’s technical and engineering teams and an expansive bay area for validation, engineering and product development. Design Engineering Inc. (DEI) hired Jason Pokines as the company’s social-media specialist. The new position will strengthen DEI’s digital, social-media and e-commerce team with a more strategic approach to customer engagement, branding and sales. Pokines will be responsible for developing campaigns to enhance DEI’s complete line of heat control and sound insulation products. He will also work with the web manager, marketing and graphics team to develop a social-media strategy to integrate and improve content development and engagement for multiple markets. Covercraft Industries LLC announced the acquisition of Carver Industries, manufacturer of custom-fit and semi-custom-fit protective covers for the marine industry. The acquisition enhances Covercraft’s pattern library and expands the company’s assortment of custom-fit vehicle protective products. It also places Covercraft squarely in the marine industry, leveraging the company’s expansion into the outdoor market with its previous acquisitions of ADCO, GT Covers and Marathon Seat Covers. Coker Tire hired Marsha Fitzgerald as executive assistant to President and CEO Wade Kawasaki. After college, Fitzgerald began her career in elementary education as a teacher, education director and principal of a large private school. Following a career change, Fitzgerald spent 19 years as an executive assistant in various non-profit organizations and institutions of higher education, honing her experience supporting C-level executives. MW Co. has been launched, combining several aftermarket performance and racing brands under one unified, corporate identity. In 2017, Cisneros Corp., which owned the MOMO brand, purchased Weld Racing and all of its brands to combine them into what is MW Co. today. MW Co. will be headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri, and will be led by Chairman of the Board Henrique Cisneros. The formation of MW Co. includes MOMO, Weld Racing, ADV.1, Driven Motorsports, CCW Forged Performance, Reds, Forgestar, HiPer Technology and Tikore. The company will continue to operate facilities in Anaheim, California, Kansas City and Milan, Italy.

Eric Trimble
   

Lubrication Specialties Inc. (LSI) announced that Eric Trimble was hired as marketing coordinator and will report to Lubrication Specialties Director of Marketing Kyle Fischer. Trimble will support all marketing endeavors, including trade-show support, media buys, PR, advertising, social media and e-commerce. In 2017, he joined LSI as an account executive to grow and maintain sales for the Hot Shot’s Secret product line, including commercial and industrial accounts in a 12-state territory. Summit Racing Equipment named Scott Peterson president and chief operating officer of the company, effective January 1, 2019. Peterson succeeds longtime President Ray Tatko, who retired at the end of 2018. Tatko remains on Summit Racing Equipment’s board of directors, acting as an advisor to company officers. Peterson was hired in 1995 as Summit Racing’s operations manager and was instrumental in improving the efficiency of the company’s order-fulfillment center.
