Top Must-See Features at the 2018 SEMA Show

Highlighting the Most Prominent Features for Show Attendees

Show week will culminate at SEMA Ignited, the official after-party that begins in the Platinum Lot immediately after the Show closes.

Your gateway to SEMA Show Education offers an inviting space to learn about careers, professional development, student programs, search for jobs, upload your résumé or find qualified applicants. As a special incentive for Showgoers, the SEMA Education Quad will offer career resources and tools and provide attendees the opportunity to have a free professional headshot taken. Open during SEMA Show hours in the upper North Hall, just above the Grand Lobby. Available to all attendees and exhibitors.

New Products Showcase
The New Products Showcase is the number-one most visited destination at the SEMA Show for buyers and media. 
   
     

The New Products Showcase

  • Skybridge Between Central and South Halls

Among the SEMA Show’s most popular attractions, the New Products Showcase is the number-one destination for buyers and media in search of the latest and most exciting products to hit the aftermarket. This year, the showcase is expected to house more than 3,000 new and featured products, with free scanning tools available to help connect buyers with products and exhibiting companies with a list of customized leads for follow-up. Many Showgoers make it a point to visit the New Products Showcase before they even set foot on the Show floor; others visit multiple times during the four-day event to examine all the different categories of products.

  Hoonigan
Broadcasting live daily from the 2018 SEMA Show, Hoonigan promises to bring the typical thrills and excitement it is known for with its global audience.
   

Hoonigan Summer of Shred

For the first time ever, Hoonigan will be on display at the 2018 SEMA Show. This exciting feature will be dedicated to the brand’s (Endless) Summer of Shred, featuring Hoonigan cast and vehicles, along with gaming battles on twin simulators, the infamous Scumbug Guild in the BFGoodrich Garage, burnouts, donuts and more. Show attendees are invited to watch as the crew films two live events each day in the Silver Lot, outside of the South Hall. Consumers can also tune in to the action via Hoonigan’s Twitch channel and see video segments on Hoonigan’s “Daily Transmission” show on YouTube.

Polaris
Join the Polaris team in the Westgate Parking Lot and hop in the passenger seat as professional drivers take you on a joyride through a drift course.
   
     

Slingshot: The Ultimate Joyride

  • Westgate Parking Lot, adjacent to the Paradise Event Center

Slingshot is a three-wheeled roadster that delivers a ride like nothing else you’ve ever experienced. The Slingshot is powered by a GM Ecotec 2.4L DOHC four-cylinder engine and delivers 173 hp by way of a five-speed manual transmission. Join the Polaris team in the Westgate Parking Lot and hop in the passenger seat as professional drivers take you on a joyride through a drift course.

OPTIMA Street Car Alley

  • North Road

Extending the action in the space between North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center and the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino, the OPTIMA Street Car Alley will feature more than 80 of OPTIMA Batteries’ Ultimate Street Car Invitational competitors. Spectator tickets to the Ultimate Street Car Invitational will be available at the display, and OPTIMA Ultimate Street Car entrants will kick off the SEMA Cruise on Friday at 4:00 p.m., and lead the parade to SEMA Ignited.

First Time & Featured Exhibitor Areas

This year’s SEMA Show includes four First-Time & Featured Exhibitor areas—the Racing Annex, located in meeting rooms N109–N114 off the Grand Lobby; the Performance Pavilion, just outside the South Hall, adjacent to the Renaissance Hotel; the east end of Upper South Hall; and at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino. Each one of these areas will include new exhibitors, representing various market segments, that could provide entirely new business relationships.

Continental
Continental Tire is back again outside South Hall, featuring drifting rides along with live music and much more.
   
     

Continental Tire Extreme Driving Experience

Showgoers can stop by and take a drifting ride in a car fitted with Continental’s newest sport tires. Then they can hang out in the Continental Tire booth to take in the sounds of a live DJ and see some of the coolest builds by the hottest car builders.

Hot Wheels

Hot Wheels is celebrating 50 years of pushing the limits of performance and design. The Hot Wheels Legends 50th Anniversary Tour, the world’s largest traveling car show, went to 15 cities to find custom-built cars worthy of becoming a Hot Wheels die-cast car. The company is bringing the 15 outrageous finalists to the SEMA Show, where the winner will be inducted into the Hot Wheels Legends Hall of Fame alongside Hot Wheel’s own first street-legal supercar, the HW50. Come see the new “sweet 16,” along with some of the current legendary life-size builds.

  SEMA Cruise
Directly following the closing of the SEMA Show on Friday, the SEMA Cruise features hundreds of SEMA Show display vehicles parading from the LVCC to the Platinum Lot, kicking off SEMA Ignited.

Starting at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, 1,500 vehicles will parade out of the Last Vegas Convention Center, providing an up-close photo opportunity of the customized rides displayed at the Show. The Cruise culminates at SEMA Ignited, the official after-party of the SEMA Show, now located in the Platinum Lot.

From 3:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m., on Friday, the official SEMA Show after-party takes place in a new location—the Platinum lot, directly behind the South Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. Enjoy food, entertainment, Formula Drift demonstrations, SEMA Show vehicles and more. Admission is free with your Show badge; $20 for the general public.

Back again for 2018, Ford Out Front promises thrills and plenty of tire smoke.

Visit Ford Out Front for parts, power and performance. Located in front of the Central Hall, Ford Out Front provides SEMA Show attendees the opportunity to experience a ride with a professional driver or simply enjoy watching the pros in action. Ford Out Front shows off the capabilities of several Ford Performance vehicles on track and features customized Ford vehicles on display. Ford Out Front is also home to exhibits from Roush and Vaughn Gittin Jr. Just follow the sound of high-performance cars to Ford Out Front—you won’t want to miss it.
