In her new role, Moreno will continue to work on web development and integrated digital strategies with a special focus on search-engine optimization and pay per click. Global Shop Solutions celebrated the 25-year anniversary of Vice President of R&D Erika Klein. As the daughter of Dick Alexander, founder of Global Shop Solutions, Klein has been involved with the company since she was a young girl. Her journey as an employee started in the service department, helping customers navigate software, before transitioning into the role of chief software designer. During her tenure, she led the release of dozens of applications that simplified manufacturing.

The University of the Aftermarket Foundation board of trustees is mourning the loss of former chairman Tim Lee, who passed away June 3 at the age of 68. An active industry participant, Lee held the roles of treasurer and chairman of the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (now Auto Care Association) as well as governor, treasurer and chairman of the Automotive Warehouse Distributors Association. He received many honors during his distinguished career. The foundation said donations made in his memory will be used to advance industry education.

Jacki Lutz, head of global marketing and communications for Schrader Performance Sensors, will step into the role of president of the Automotive Communications Council (ACC). She has been active in ACC for four years and was involved on the events committee before serving on the board for the past two years. She served as vice president last year.
