It’s time to begin planning for the 2018 SEMA Show. Exhibitors can reserve booth space now at www.SEMAShow.com/buyabooth. The reservation deadline for priority space selection is March 30, with assignments taking place in May.
 
As the world’s premier automotive specialty-equipment trade event, the SEMA Show annually attracts the industry’s brightest minds and hottest products to the Las Vegas Convention Center. Last year, more than 160,000 individuals attended the Show to connect with each other, experience new products and learn about top industry trends and business practices. Nearly 3,000 products were displayed in the 2017 New Products Showcase, and thousands of media attendees generated articles, videos and social-media posts throughout the week.

Honor Your Company’s Young Star—SEMA News 35 Under 35

SEMA News is again looking to highlight top-tier talent age 35 and younger in the automotive aftermarket industry, and we need your input. If you know a leader who will be in that age range as of September 1, 2018—whether the individual is in manufacturing and design, marketing, retail, events and media, or distribution—we would like to hear from you.

Nominate a candidate online now at www.sema.org/35-under-35 for the 2018 SEMA News 35 Under 35. Nominations are due May 31.

Honorees will be chosen based on their business success, contributions to their organizations, industry knowledge and community involvement. SEMA News will feature the honorees in its September issue and on www.sema.org.

Loaded with aftermarket upgrades, the SEMA Cares ’17 Ford F-250 Super Duty SuperCab XLT 4x4 was built at the SEMA Garage and auctioned for charity at Barrett-Jackson in Scottsdale, Arizona.
   

SEMA Cares ’17 Ford F-250 Super Duty Fetches $115,000

The SEMA Cares ’17 Ford F-250 Super Duty SuperCab XLT 4x4, built at the SEMA Garage in Diamond Bar, California, sold for $115,000 at Barrett-Jackson in Scottsdale, Arizona. Proceeds benefit the Childhelp children’s charity.

The truck was donated by Ford and built by SEMA Garage staff and member manufacturers to demonstrate the latest technology that can be used for building a vehicle as well as to familiarize SEMA membership with the Tech Transfer program and raise funds for SEMA Cares charities.

To date, SEMA Cares and Barrett-Jackson together have raised more than $2 million for SEMA Cares charities and the SEMA Memorial Scholarship Fund. Last year alone, SEMA Cares raised $95,000 from the sale of a Ford Maverick and $75,000 from the sale of an Omix-ADA Jeep Wrangler.
