2017 MPMC Media Trade Conference Press Registration Open
Journalists and reporters can participate in private meetings with some of the industry’s top performance-product manufacturers during the 2017 Media Trade Conference in Santa Ana, California.
Journalists are invited to sit down in private, uninterrupted meetings with representatives from top motorsports parts producers during the 2017 Motorsports Parts Manufacturers Council (MPMC) Media Trade Conference. The conference, taking place Tuesday–Thursday, January 24–26, 2017, at the Embassy Suites Orange County Airport North in Santa Ana, California, features companies that are members of SEMA’s MPMC.
Reporters can select representatives from the companies they wish to meet to ensure relevancy to their outlets by registering at www.sema.org/mtcreg. Early registration guarantees that reporters will receive the best possible schedule in advance of
SEMA makes every effort to match journalists with the companies they indicate they’re interested in, so participants are encouraged to pay close attention to the companies they select. Journalists should also mark “Don’t want to meet” for companies outside of their editorial needs. Only one registration is needed per media group; however, freelance writers should register independently.

SEMA Now Accepting Scholarship Applications
Applications for scholarships and loan-forgiveness awards can be submitted now at www.sema.org/scholarships.
SEMA is now accepting applications for awards from the 2017 SEMA Memorial Scholarship Fund. The program offers financial assistance of up to $5,000 to help foster the next generation of automotive aftermarket industry leaders and innovators. Students pursuing careers in the auto industry can apply at www.sema.org/scholarships.
The deadline for the program is March 1, 2017. Scholarships are available in a variety of categories, including technical and business disciplines. Dozens of awards ranging from $2,000–$3,000 will be given out, with a $5,000 award going to the top student.
The program also includes a loan-forgiveness aspect that offers financial awards to employees of SEMA-member companies who are paying off loans for programs of study at accredited universities, colleges or vocational/technical programs within the United States.
