Hawaii Proposes Elimination of Ethanol Requirement in Gasoline

Legislation to remove the requirement that gasoline offered for sale in the state contain a percentage of ethanol was introduced in the Hawaii Senate.

Legislation to remove the requirement that gasoline offered for sale in the state contain a percentage of ethanol was introduced in the Hawaii Senate. Currently, the state requires that “gasoline sold in the state for use in motor vehicles contain 10% ethanol by volume.”
