The Product Development Expo, fueled by the SEMA Garage, will be held Thursday, April 10, 2014, at SEMA headquarters in Diamond Bar, California.

For years, we’ve heard stories about self-driving vehicles and connected cars. Those stories are today’s reality. Today’s car dashboard operates much like a laptop, and automakers are already integrating technology with cell-phone apps.

How will your auto accessories be incorporated into future vehicles? What are the design implications and how can you continue to manufacture products cost-effectively?

Get answers during the SEMA Product Development Expo, a one-day conference just for product developers, designers and engineers. Taking place April 10, 2014, in Diamond Bar, California, the event includes a keynote address by Stewart Reed, chairman of Transportation Design at the world-renown Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California.

The agenda also includes presentations by Danny Shapiro of NVIDA, Jake Sigal of Livio, Todd Peterson of MSD Performance and John Ellis of Ford.

Registration, which includes lunch and an evening mixer, is $47 for SEMA members; $97 for non-SEMA members. Space is limited. Details: www.sema.org/product-development.
