The Goodguys Rod & Custom Association will present its all-new Goodguys GOLD Awards during the 2013 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. All cars on display at SEMA that have a Goodguys decal on their windshield will be eligible for a Goodguys GOLD Award. Indoor display cars, outdoor display cars and all featured exhibit vehicles, regardless of year, make or model are eligible for a Goodguys GOLD award, provided they’re displaying a Goodguys windshield decal.

The winners will be announced at the Goodguys Rod & Custom Association booth in Hot Rod Alley (booth #22375) Wednesday, November 6, at 2:00 p.m. All exhibitors, fans and enthusiasts are welcome and encouraged to attend the winner’s announcement ceremony!

All five GOLD Award winners will receive a special billet anodized GOLD bar trophy, as well as an invitation to the Goodguys 16th Southwest Nationals, November 15–17, at Westworld in Scottsdale, Arizona, to park in an area reserved for GOLD winners. The winners will also be photographed for inclusion in the Goodguys Goodtimes Gazette magazine.

The new awards are the first of their kind for Goodguys at SEMA. “The SEMA show has long been an industry showplace for freshly built hot rods, customs and musclecars, as well as late models to make their debut,” said Goodguys President Marc Meadors. “We wanted to do something exclusive and special at the SEMA Show in recognition of today’s top builders. SEMA has become one of the top car shows in the world, and it only makes sense for Goodguys to honor what we feel are the top five cars on display.”

If you’re debuting or showing a car at SEMA this year and do not currently have a Goodguys decal on your car, you can stop by the Goodguys booth for a complimentary one. For more visit www.good-guys.com.
