Product demonstrations are an effective way to attract buyers to your booth.
The top factors influencing a buyer’s decision to stop at a booth are the displays and product demonstrations, according to a survey of buyers from the 2012 SEMA Show.
When asked what attracts them to an exhibitor’s booth, buyers overwhelmingly responded with product displays, followed by vehicle displays, product demonstration and layout/design of the booth.
Leading journalists agree, saying that having products, hand-outs and displays that tell a story are more important than booth girls or gimmicks that tend to crowd the booths with people who “don’t have real business there.”
Less than 30% of buyers ranked giveaways, models, celebrity appearances and the location and size of a booth as having an influence on their decisions to visit an exhibitor.
