Gain a Competitive Edge Through SEMA PRO Council Membership

Do you have a retail or car-dealer-direct accessory business? Are you an installer, restyler, expeditor, manufacturer, distributor or service provider specializing in automotive appearance and auto trim? If the answer is "yes," then the Professional Restylers Organization (PRO)—a SEMA council—invites you to join the predominant network of accessory professionals and receive the tools to help grow your business and gain a competitive edge.
In addition to expanding your network of industry contacts, PRO has created a toolbox full of valuable resources to help member companies create successful and profitable accessory programs. These tools include:
Marketing Tools and Resources: The “PRO Sales-Training Manual” offers a step-by-step guide to selling car-dealer direct; the “PRO Business Development Guidebook” strategically outlines key elements essential to running a successful and profitable accessory business; and the “Vehicle Accessorization DVD” and brochure are high-impact sales training tools that highlight how car dealers can team up with restylers to create mutually profitable business partnerships.
Hands-On Training: By partnering with industry-leading technical schools and colleges, such as the University of Northwestern Ohio and Wyotech, PRO has created the Technical Skills and Training Conference (TSTC) that will be introduced at the 2012 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. TSTC features leading manufacturers presenting hands-on, interactive sessions that provide attendees the opportunity to learn proper installation techniques needed to improve quality control and efficiency. Attendees will gain a better understanding of the skills, tools and resources needed to effectively integrate additional revenue streams or improve upon their existing business model.
Network of Professionals: PRO has created “voluntary codes of ethics” that exemplify best business practices and guidelines for accessory manufacturers, warehouse distributors, restylers and installers. Through membership meetings, town halls, functions and special events, such as the annual Novemberfest Industry Recognition Reception, PRO has created a rich environment for peers to connect and identify opportunities to serve, honor and promote the restyling and accessory market.
