SBN's Price-McCall Engages Youth to Help Build Industry

Sherry Price-McCall, account executive at Masters TV in Bristol, Tennessee, began her career in the specialty-equipment industry 12 years ago with York International. Over the past decade, she’s created a variety of new features and programs to promote the automotive industry, particularly among youth in motorsports and ways to keep them involved.

Most recently, she developed the concept for a 13-week series called "Motorsports U," highlighting students who race on the University of Northwestern Ohio’s race team.

“I have the privilege of working with the youth in our market through our television programming,” McCall says. “It’s very satisfying to be part of their excitement and wide-eyed vision for the future of the automotive industry.”

Asked if she’s had a mentor in the industry, McCall says that her list is endless.

“If I was to mention a few, it would be my husband, Butch McCall, who guided me through the process of automotive marketing; Ted and Linda Jones, who have supplied me with the history and stories of this great industry; and Debbie Walls, who has been a wonderful friend and business partner through the years.”
