Spy Shots: Showroom-Ready Chevy Volt Electrifies the Streets

By now, we've seen hundreds of the unfinished Chevy Volt prototypes roaming around the United States with non-production lights, missing trim and the flat black and gray paint jobs.

For the first time today, we have photos of a Chevy Volt out testing that is showroom ready! It's been a long wait for this revolutionary vehicle from GM, but these latest photos show the Volt is now in the last stages of validation. Though we hope those "Volt" window stickers are optional!

Watch for production to start in November 2010 at GM's Hamtramck Assembly Plant in Detroit.

Spy Shots: Cadillac Wagon—Two Words That Sound So Wrong Look So Right

In 2008, Cadillac gave us the CTS-V sedan. Then, earlier this year, GM debuted the CTS-V Coupe at the Detroit Auto Show. Now we've spied the latest piece in Cadillac's V puzzle with exclusive spy photos of the 2011 CTS-V Wagon with NO CAMOUFLAGE!!

Luck was on our side as we stumbled onto this Cadillac photo shoot and saw a showroom-ready CTS-V Wagon just waiting for our camera.

As with the other V-series cars, the CTS-V Wagon will be wearing wire mesh grilles, a power dome hood, wider tires, high performance wheels, larger brake calipers and sportier body work.

Under that power dome hood sits the now familiar 6.2L, supercharged V8 motor known as the LSA. Good for 556 hp and 551 lb.-ft. in the CTS-V sedan, we expect the ratings of the Wagon to be the same.

Watch for the V-series to wagon to be in showrooms by late summer or fall.
