PRO Welcomes Five New Select Committee Members

The Professional Restyler’s Organization (PRO) Select Committee is a group of elected volunteers who serve as advocates for their industry niche. In that role, they commit their time, experience and unique perspective in order to help guide association resources for the betterment of the industry. The ability to effectively represent PRO’s membership necessitates that the individuals who serve approach council business with a broad understanding of the issues that impact member companies on both a short- and long-term basis. With this is mind, and as the result of the recent elections, PRO is positioned to strongly influence meaningful change and help promote the restyling and accessory segments of the specialty-equipment market. PRO proudly welcomes the new Select Committee members.

Wayne Casimer, sales manager of the automotive graphics division at Eagle Enterprises IncWayne Casimer, sales manager of the automotive graphics division at Eagle Enterprises Inc., has been involved in the automotive aftermarket for more than 29 years. He has been active in PRO for the last five years. Casimer served on the PRO nominating committee in 2008, sponsored the PRO membership drive at the SEMA Show in 2009 and served as a member of the PRO membership task force in 2010–2011.

 

Dave Edmondson has been involved in the restyling industry for 10 years and currently holds the positions of vice president at Roadwire Automotive InnovationDave Edmondson has been involved in the restyling industry for 10 years and currently holds the positions of vice president at Roadwire Automotive Innovation and vice president at Signature (Inalfa) Sunroofs and Distinctive Industries. Edmondson’s experience in sales, business operations and marketing along with his extensive knowledge of the restyling industry, market trends and key issues affecting the industry bring a fresh perspective to the PRO Select Committee.

     

Donna Green of Retro USA brings 30 years of marketing experience as an employee, an entrepreneur and a volunteer.

Donna Green of Retro USA brings 30 years of marketing experience as an employee, an entrepreneur and a volunteer. These positions blend a unique perspective of both the private and public sectors. As co-owner of Performax Products and volunteer co-chair of a SCORE Chapter, Green helped in creating and coordinating education for potential entrepreneurs. It is the educational opportunities that interest Green, as she sees changes coming that will require new ways of thinking about and approaching business.

 

Jerry Redding had the pleasure of working for the Walt Disney World Company for 10 years prior to beginning his career in the automotive aftermarket.

Jerry Redding had the pleasure of working for the Walt Disney World Company for 10 years prior to beginning his career in the automotive aftermarket. He started working for KarBiz Associates, his family-run expediting business in Hawaii, where he learned how to service and sell to car dealerships with both hard and paper products. KarBiz launched EchoMaster at the 1998 SEMA Show, establishing its first-generation line of back-up sensors. Redding has been involved with the SEMA ProPledge campaign and other SEMA initiatives in the past and looks forward to serving the membership through the Select Committee.

Ginger Glover joined her parents, Jesse and Barbara Rawls, at Truckers Toy Store in 2000. She quickly realized that the company would need several changes in order to better serve its customers and future growth. As a result, she implemented a uniform program for employees that emphasized the importance of image and first impressions. Glover also saw a need to update the company’s point-of-sales system. Her next task was to build internal consensus for a new store in Wilson, North Carolina. While the new location got underway, Glover continued to position the company for the future. She implemented ASE and SEMA certification for employees. She also had Truckers Toy Store participate in the ProPledge Pilot program.

 

Professional Restylers Organization (PRO) - SEMA CouncilPRO represents the collective interests of all SEMA-member companies serving the restyling and accessory market—be they manufacturers, warehouse distributors, manufacturers reps or restylers and installers. As a member company, you can work with PRO to build solid, mutually beneficial relationships with OEMs and new- and used-vehicle dealers, participate in ongoing efforts to elevate the level of professionalism throughout all sectors of the industry, enhance customer satisfaction, and have a voice on issues that impact the industry.

Mission Statement The Professional Restylers Organization, a SEMA Council, is dedicated to addressing the challenges facing the restyling segment of the automotive aftermarket and to developing effective strategies for dealing with industry-specific issues.
