Getting to Know the PRO Membership

The Professional Restylers Organization (PRO) is a diverse council comprised of manufacturers, warehouse distributors, service providers, media and, of course, restylers. Local restylers, installers and retailers are often the best source in identifying challenges and opportunities and in gauging the pulse of industry. In order to get a glimpse of what these businesses are experiencing, PRO recently asked a few of its members to share a little about their business and the industry.

Top Challenge: Varying staffing levels due to fluctuating car sales.

Opportunities: Leather. Ten years ago, leather represented only a small portion of my business; today it makes up nearly 65%.

Opportunities: Vehicle connectivity and mobile-electronic OE integration. The new technology in the vehicles makes it difficult to get compatible products to install.
