Calling Female Professionals: The SEMA Businesswoman’s Network (SBN) will again host the Gear-up Girl Networking event at this year’s SEMA Show. Started in 2011, as part of the SEMA Education student program, Gear-up Girl is designed to connect female students with industry leading female professionals.
An SBN reception, held in a packed Westgate ballroom on Wednesday evening, continued to build on the community among industry women as they gathered to celebrate #SheIsSEMA. With over 200 male and female professionals looking to advance the careers of women in the industry, this event became a night to remember.
Who is She? In the Automotive Aftermarket She is many things, and sometimes it is something completely unexpected.
Save the dates SBN! SEMA Education has confirmed Gear Up Girl will be returning during the 2019 SEMA Show.
This program, entering its seventh year, is designed to connect women currently working in the industry with female students who aspire to become automotive aftermarket professionals.
The SBN is excited to announce a fully updated mobile-ready website, www.sema.org/she-is-sema, where you can check out prior Member Spotlight’s, see who “She” is, and as a place to nominate you or someone you know who makes great strides in the automotive aftermarket industry.
