Appropriately located among restyling and car care accessory exhibitors in the North Hall of the 2017 SEMA Show, the PRO booth attracted plenty of foot traffic throughout the week. Its primary tool for attracting Show attendees was its restyled Chevy Silverado, which had a presence of its own.
Ginger Glover, owner of Truckers Toy Store and PRO Select Committee member, restyled the truck with the help of her team. Michael Maddox spearheaded the truck’s restyling, and he was present to answer questions and discuss the truck’s upgrades with interested Show attendees.
“Ginger came in with ideas of what she wanted to do, and we at the shop put our heads together. It started from scratch with a 2017 Chevy Silverado. It started off gloss black with cloth interior and stock height. We put a four and a half-inch zone lift on it,” commented Maddox.
Clearly the truck Maddox, Ginger, and the rest of their team started with had dramatically undergone several changes, or better said—upgrades! The now-restyled Chevy Silverado featured a black matte paint protection film with tastefully placed, black glossy graphics of stars and stripes on either side of the doors. Accent lighting underneath the truck highlighted the ground below, and especially the red prismatic powder-coated rims, which added a faint metallic glow.
The truck’s interior was equally impressive with its leather seats that boasted a perforated pattern with hints of red. Hydro-dipped trim and panels along with accent lighting emanating from underneath the front seats matched the truck’s well-balanced red theme. With its upgraded audio system and flip-down TV, this Chevy Silverado will surely find a loving owner.
In fact, Glover and the Truckers Toy Store team will auction off the truck to lucky bidders. Proceeds from the upgraded Chevy will be donated to a non-profit organization.
