HRIA Feature Vehicle Program
The Hot Rod Industry Alliance (HRIA) Education Days have announced the dates for 2019 in Louisville, Kentucky at the NSRA Street Rod Nationals. Twelve manufacturers in the hot rod segment will be giving hour long presentations on not only their product lines but tips and tricks for your own projects and builds.
On Thursday, November 1 join in on an interactive panel discussion with well-established hot rod builders and shop owners. Led by Rick Love of Vintage Air, the builders will go through their best practices in customer-relations, business operations and building tips, tricks and stories.
In addition to the HRIA car being unveiled, you will find another five display vehicles, three from the Restoration segment and two more representing the Hot Rod segment. One of the ARMO vehicles will also be revealed for the first time. The unveilings or reveals commence at 11:00 am on Tuesday morning. Don’t be late.
The doors open for the 2018 HRIA Awards Reception at 5:15 pm on Wednesday, October 31 in the Paradise Event Center at the Westgate Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

At least five vehicles have driven more than 400 mph during Speed Week at the Bonneville Salt Flats. Located in northwestern Utah, Bonneville is central to the history of motorsports, where hundreds of land-speed records have been set and broken in a variety of automotive classes.
New Proposition 65 regulations that require more detailed information on the labels take effect for products manufactured after August 30, 2018. Now required is at least one chemical for which the warning is being provided, along with a yellow caution triangle and a link to the official Proposition 65 website.
