SEMA has recently launched a new program entitled SEMA Senior Class, A Mentoring Program. Through this free program, all SEMA members are welcome to search and connect with an industry mentor. SEMA mentors are current or former business owners, presidents, CEO’s and advisors all specializing in the automotive aftermarket industry. They are volunteering their time to mentor any SEMA member, regardless of their professional experience.
Many individuals who have found success in their field say that to some degree, they owe a part of their success to a mentor, or someone influential in their lives that they looked up to and learned from. SEMA’s goal in creating this program was to connect individuals to create these inspiring relationships.
To find a mentor that best aligns with your needs, visit the SEMA Senior Class website at www.sema.org/mentor. You may browse through all mentor profiles, learn about their industry background and select a mentor that you feel best aligns with what you are looking to gain from this experience. You may also narrow down your mentor search by areas of expertise:
- Career Coaching
- E-Commerce & Data
- Legal & Human Resources
- Product Development & Engineering
- Sales & Marketing
If you are interested in giving back and becoming a SEMA Mentor, you can do so on the website.
