2011 SEMA Business Technology Symposium to Provide Industry with Valuable Tools for Marketing and Growing Business Online

understand the trends and opportunities at the Business Technology Symposium on
July 27, 2011 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the Renaissance Hotel in Long Beach,
Calif. 

17 Hot Rod Builders to Participate in 2011 SEMA Pinewood Builders Race

The 2011 HRIA Builder's Challenge is beginning to take shape with an
incredible class of hot-rod builders. These builders will create and
race one-of-a-kind pinewood cars at the annual SEMA Cares Pinewood Drag Races, presented by eBay Motors,
on July 29, at the Renaissance Hotel in Long Beach, California. All of
these pinewood cars will be on display at the HRIA booth during the 2011 SEMA Show
from November 1–4 in Las Vegas before being placed on eBay for public
auction. All of the proceeds from the auction will go to the Childhelp and Victory Junction Gang Camp children’s charities.

SEMA President Chris Kersting Challenges Industry, Agrees to Shave His Head

Mike Spagnola, president of Street Scene Equipment and a key SEMA Show
‘N Shine car show organizer, is encouraging all members of the industry
to step up and answer SEMA President and CEO Chris Kersting’s
head-shaving challenge. Following the example of several principals
from last year’s Show ‘N Shine and Pinewood Drag Races, including
Spagnola and SEMA Cares Committee Chairman Joel Ayres, Kersting has
agreed to shave his head to benefit the Childhelp and Victory Junction
Gang Camp children’s charities.
