4th Annual SEMA Battle of the Builders to Feature Top Customizers

(Sept. 6, 2017) – SEMA Show exhibitors enlist top vehicle builders to create custom cars and trucks that will generate worldwide attention and stand out at the premier automotive trade show each year. More than 250 of these builders will compete in the 4th annual SEMA Battle of the Builders competition, with the finalists announced during the 2017 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, NV, and the winner announced during the nationwide television taping at SEMA Ignited on Friday, Nov. 3.

SEMA Student Career Day Focuses on Job Opportunities and Industry Growth

(Sept. 6, 2017) – As the automotive aftermarket industry continues to grow and business demand for qualified employees rises, the 2nd annual Student Career Day will bring SEMA Show exhibitors and students who are passionate about the automotive aftermarket industry together during the premier automotive trade show in the world. Held on Monday, Oct. 30, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Westgate Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, the Student Career Day will include hundreds of high school and college students from across the country and more than 60 SEMA Show exhibitors.

SEMA Board of Directors Election Results

DIAMOND BAR, Calif. (May 30, 2017) -- Tim Martin from K&N Engineering has been elected the chairman-elect of SEMA and will help the SEMA Board of Directors lead the association for the 2017-2019 term. Martin fills the position held for the past two years by Wade Kawasaki of The Coker Group. Kawasaki will begin serving his term as chairman in July. James Lawrence from Power Automedia was also voted onto the SEMA Board of Directors, and Greg Adler from Transamerican Auto Parts was re-elected and will serve another term.
