Manufacturer Rep Roundup & Awards Program

As a Manufacturer Rep attending the SEMA Show, you are invited to attend a networking happy hour on Thursday, November 2nd from 11:00am to 12:00pm in SEMA Central, located in the Grand Lobby of the LVCC.

This event is a great opportunity to network with one another and learn a bit about the industry while enjoying appetizers and beverages.

Vic Bennet, Chair of the Manufacturers Reps Network (MRN), will provide an update on the network’s latest initiatives as well as discuss the state of the industry. Before the happy hour is over, the MRN will recognize and celebrate leading professionals and companies during the awards portion of the event.

MRN members, select committee members and SEMA staff will be on site to discuss membership and the resources and benefits available through the MRN.

Trends and Challenges for 2017

Council LeadersSEMA News spoke with SEMA’s council and network leaders to find out what’s in the pipeline for the coming year and to get their thoughts about the emerging trends and the challenges they can expect to face based on what their organizations are seeing in their respective marketplaces. Not surprisingly, many council and network chairs viewed the Recognizing the Protection of Motorsports (RPM) Act as essential to the continued viability of the automotive aftermarket industry.

MRN LogoThe primary objective of the Manufacturers’ Representative Network (MRN) is to provide a forum for manufacturers’ representatives for the purpose of increasing their impact as an industry, exploring issues of common interest and concern, increasing their collective knowledge, and elevating the overall image of the profession. MRN directs its efforts toward addressing key industry issues while developing strategies and programs designed to meet the special needs of manufacturers’ representatives. The network is progressing toward providing tangible programs and creating business opportunities for its membership.
