The SEMA Action Network (SAN) announced July 10, 2015 as “Collector Car Appreciation Day.” The date marks the sixth commemoration in what has become an annual event to raise awareness of the vital role automotive restoration and collection plays in American society. The SAN is again working to secure a congressional resolution to recognize the day’s significance.
Join us for a networking experience like no other with fun surprises and a celebratory dinner honoring our new SEMA Hall of Fame inductees and incoming/outgoing SEMA Board of Directors.
For those of you traveling to the MPMC Media Trade Conference or working in the greater Los Angeles/Orange County area, we have great news!
Hundreds of journalists, reporters and media representatives are set to meet one-on-one with manufacturers during the 2015 MPMC Media Trade Conference, taking place January 20–22, 2015, in Santa Ana, California.
Journalists who are already registered for this year’s MPMC Media Trade Conference will receive their personalized schedules by January 6, 2015, indicating which companies they will be meeting with in private, one-on-one meetings.
The Motorsports Parts Manufacturers Council (MPMC) holds its Media Trade Conference each January. The event is designed to bring together editorial staffs with racing and high-performance parts manufacturers for three days of face-to-face, 30-minute meetings. Rich Barsamian, MPMC chair, has exhibited at the event seven times and explained that the council’s goal in offering the conference is to help council members gain exposure.
Personalized schedules are being created for the nearly 200 journalists and reporters who have signed up to participate in the 2015 MPMC Media Trade Conference.
The fall and winter months are busy for members of SEMA’s Motorsports Parts Manufacturers Council (MPMC), as many exhibit at both the SEMA Show in Las Vegas and the Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Show in Indianapolis. These shows represent two of the biggest weeks of the year for MPMC members. Though much of the council’s focus is placed on preparing a lineup of events for the December PRI Show, MPMC will also power two seminars at the 2014 SEMA Show. Eugene Zelek Jr., co-chair of the antitrust and trade regulation group for Freeborn & Peters LLP, has designed these back-to-back sessions to help members navigate the ins and outs of pricing policies.
We have a great reason for you to get up bright and early on Friday of the SEMA Show.
Always an important part of PRI week, the MPMC Hall of Fame immortalizes those who have made a significant contribution to MPMC or to the motorsports parts manufacturing segment as a whole.
