The top-10 finalists in the 2016 SEMA Launch Pad: Powered by YEN competition will pitch their business ideas in front of a live audience and a panel of industry judges.
The Light Truck Accessory Alliance (LTAA) is once again hosting its popular Media Preview Day Monday, October 31, prior to the opening of the 2016 SEMA Show. Held in the Media Center located in the Sky Bridge of the LVCC, exhibiting LTAA manufacturers are able to maximize product exposure to over 150 members of the media. Throughout the four-hour event, exhibiting truck accessory manufacturers will meet face-to-face with editors and reporters making contacts and introducing their latest products without sacrificing valuable floor time with buyers.
The Light Truck Accessory Alliance (LTAA) elected three incumbents and three new members to its select committee. These committee members will serve two-year terms and will be up for re-election in 2018. The new members include Casey Currie of Casey Currie Racing, Kelli Mallicote of Bodyguard Truck Accessories and Matt Reasoner of BedRug and Retrax.
The Light Truck Accessory Alliance will have a booth at the 2016 SEMA Show. Booth #34183 located in Upper South Hall is the perfect place for LTAA members to gather to network and for aspiring members to learn more about the council’s initiatives. Two feature vehicles will be on display-they are a must see!
LTAA is hosting a happy hour in their booth at the close of the first day of the SEMA Show. Be sure to stop by the centrally located booth for a drink and to network with truck and jeep industry professionals. Members of the Select Committee will be there to answer any questions about council initiatives and the many benefits that a LTAA membership can bring your company.
Happy Hour will be held from 4:00pm-5:30pm on Tuesday, November 1, in the LTAA Booth #34183, in Upper South Hall.
The Light Truck Accessory Alliance will host a reception at the 2016 SEMA Show. LTAA members and fellow industry professionals will gather for a fun evening of networking while enjoying beverages and hor dourves. The council will honor outstanding LTAA companies and individuals for their contributions to the light truck segment with their annual awards ceremony.
A fun tradition at the LTAA reception is the pinewood derby races. Attendees can rent pinewood trucks to participate in the races. This has turned into a much anticipated competitive event. Pinewood trucks will be on display at the reception for purchase as well. All race and purchase proceeds go towards SEMA Cares, children’s charity.
The reception will take place Wednesday, November 2, from 5:00pm-7:00pm, located in the Westgate Conference Rooms 7-14.

In this new panel discussion aimed at truck and jeep builders, attendees will hear from a panel of well-known vehicle builders discussing their experience building trucks and discussing what it takes to be a successful builder. Bring questions you may have as the panel will open the discussion for Q&A.
This educational event will take place Thursday, November 3, from 3:30pm- 4:30pm located in LVCC Upper North Hall, room N252.
