The United States Senate passed Senate Resolution 513 (S. Res. 513) at the request of the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) and the Automotive Restoration Market Organization (ARMO) Council designating July 9, 2010 as “Collector Car Appreciation Day.”

Manufacturers who have not yet applied to exhibit at the 2010 SEMA Show have until May 7, 2010 to take part in the Priority Booth Space Selection Process.
Three individuals are being recognized for contributing to and shaping the automotive specialty-equipment industry by being inducted into the SEMA Hall of Fame. The three individuals being inducted this year are Richard “Dick” McMullen, Chuck Schwartz and Van Woodell.

The SEMA Show ‘Vehicle Manufacturer of the Show’ (VMOS) program is being modified to showcase top trendsetting vehicles. Through this enhanced program, exhibitors of the 2010 SEMA Show will determine the hottest cars and trucks in three categories: car, truck and 4x4.
