The Automotive Restoration Market Organization (ARMO) will host a general membership meeting at the SEMA Garage-Product Development Center in Diamond Bar, California on Wednesday, May 27, 2015. Breakfast will be served at 8:30 a.m., with the meeting running from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. A networking lunch will follow the meeting.
The Automotive Restoration Market Organization (ARMO) has been hard at work behind the scenes over the past few months. Quite a few exciting changes are in store for the group, as the leadership has solicited feedback from members to determine the future focus and goals of the council.The council’s goal-setting process began more than a year ago when members met to discuss the group’s priorities at a general membership meeting during the 2013 SEMA Show. Taking attendees’ concerns into careful consideration, the select committee met again this past fall to discuss the question, “Who is ARMO?” The committee also took a survey designed to illuminate the strengths of the group
The ARMO Hot Products Showcase is an opportunity for council members to display one or more products in front of one of the single largest gatherings of automotive restoration enthusiasts in the world.
The SEMA Action Network (SAN) announced July 10, 2015 as “Collector Car Appreciation Day.” The date marks the sixth commemoration in what has become an annual event to raise awareness of the vital role automotive restoration and collection plays in American society. The SAN is again working to secure a congressional resolution to recognize the day’s significance.
