The Tire Industry Association (TIA) held a press conference in the Global Tire Expo area of the 2012 SEMA Show to highlight the current focus, goals and direction of the 90-year-old association that represents all segments of the national and international tire industry.

Time Running Out to Register for 2012 Global Tire Expo for $25

With just 54 days left until the Tire Industry Association's (TIA) Global Tire Expo (GTE) at the SEMA Show, and even less time to purchase tickets at the discounted $25 price that ends October 15, TIA members and other attendees need to both register for the event and reserve their stay in the Cosmopolitan Hotel of Las Vegas as soon as possible.

Tire Industry Debut

This year’s SEMA Show included a specially designed, purpose-built headquarters for the tire industry. A show within a show, the Global Tire Expo—Powered by Tire Industry Association (TIA) was created to focus attention on tire-industry innovations and opportunities. Judging by the positive reactions of all involved, the Expo concept turned out to be a great idea.

2010 Global Tire Expo—Powered By TIA Raises the Bar

The 2010 Global Tire Expo more than delivered, even when just examining initial statistics. Show management indicates that tire and wheel-related new-product submissions for the New Products Showcase were up more than 45%.

More Than 12,000 Registered 2010 SEMA Show Buyers Are Interested in Tire Products

So far, 180 tire companies—of which 34 are first-timers—are exhibiting at the Global Tire Expo—Powered by TIA in the South Hall’s lower level.

For 2010, SEMA and the Tire Industry Association (TIA) have created this tire industry-only part of the SEMA Show, which will be open to all segments of the tire industry, including automotive, commercial, retreading, recycling and more.
