Industry Veteran Bob Castle Joins SEMA Data Co-op

Bob Castle, a well-known name in industry technology circles, has joined the SEMA Data Co-op (SDC) as vice president of eBusiness and information technology, effective July 1.

Castle is a past chairman of the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association's (AAIA) Technology Standards & Solutions Committee and is a long-standing member of the SEMA Business Technology Committee. He is also a past chairman of the AAIA Product Information Exchange Standard (PIES) sub-committee and current member of the Searchable Product Attributes Project.

Castle brings extensive background in project management, business process engineering, business re-engineering and structured system development, and his systems background includes extensive experience in e-business, e-commerce, enterprise resource planning (ERP), materials requirements planning (MRP), distribution requirements planning (DRP), manufacturing, inventory management, shop management and warehouse management systems.

Most recently at Covercraft Industries and previously with Global Accessories, Castle will now take the lead role in technology management and systems development for the SDC.
