SEMA Scholarship: Time Running Out to Grab Some Cash

  Scholarship Winners
Several students who attended a 2008 SEMA Show welcome reception received association scholarships, including Clemson University's Reza Saeidpourazar (far left), a $2,000 graduate award winner.

It’s not too late to apply for the SEMA Scholarship or Loan Forgiveness Program! But don’t wait; the deadline to apply is April 2, 2010. If you're a student preparing for a career in the automotive industry, SEMA can lend a hand.

The SEMA Memorial Scholarship Fund is dedicated to fostering the next generation of industry leaders and innovators, offering scholarships to today’s brightest students at universities, colleges and/or vocational schools in the United States and Canada. Awards range from $1,000–$2,000, with $4,000 going to the top student.

And if you're a recent graduate with outstanding student loans, we can help, too. The SEMA Loan Forgiveness Program is dedicated to helping recent graduates off to successful starts in their automotive aftermarket careers, offering a minimum of $1,000 toward outstanding student loans for individuals employed by SEMA-member companies.
