Restylers and installers can add to their skill sets by attending PRO's Technical Skills & Training Conference at the University of Northwestern Ohio.

The Professional Restylers Organization (PRO) is launching the Technical Skills & Training Conference (TSTC), a new technical training program designed specifically for restylers and installers. Scheduled for Friday, April 30, at the University of Northwestern Ohio (Lima, Ohio), this one-day program not only offers a valuable opportunity to network with industry peers, but is also packed with installation training and product knowledge direct from the product manufacturers.

Twelve, one-hour seminars/workshops (with two classes running concurrently throughout the day) are offered by companies such as Webasto, Katzkin, Audiovox, Restyler’s Choice, Eagle Enterprises and more, with sessions offered in the following tracks:

-Leather
-Sunroofs
-12-Volt
-Truck Accessories
-Towing and Suspension
-Diesel Performance
-Self-Adhesive
-ASE/A6 Electrical

The event will also feature a “bullpen,” an area offering hands-on experience in addition to classroom training. Cost to attend is $25 for the first attendee from each company, $15 for each additional person. The price includes a catered breakfast, lunch and evening reception; admission to the PRO council General Membership Meeting (learn about PRO, what it's doing for the industry and how to get involved); and entrance to the PRO Long Range Planning meeting (for PRO members, Saturday, May 1).
