eBay Motors Takes Charity Lead in SEMA Children's Fundraiser

eBay Motors has paved the way for charitable giving by signing on as presenting sponsor of the second annual SEMA Pinewood Drag Race, which will be held from 10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. on August 1, 2009, in Pasadena, California.

The drag race will benefit children’s charities Childhelp and Victory Junction Gang Camp. Childhelp is an organization that assists abused and neglected children, and Victory Junction Gang Camp provides life-changing camping experiences to disabled and chronically ill children.

"Please join me in thanking eBay Motors for their support of this year’s SEMA Pinewood Drag Race,” said Joel Ayres, chairman of the SEMA Cares Committee, in an online announcement. “I’d like to encourage everyone to follow eBay Motor’s lead in supporting this year’s event.”

The Pinewood Drag Race will be followed by the SEMA Installation Banquet & Gala Fundraiser, where the 2009 SEMA Hall of Fame inductees will be announced.
