SEMA Education Institute (SEI)
SEI - Educating the Automotive Future
SEMA recognizes how integral training is to its members’ success and has invested in the development of a World-class, web-based learning enterprise. That learning enterprise is SEI -- and its goal is to provide members with programs and information that will maximize business results. SEI has partnered with software developers, subject matter experts and professional educators to build the best learning program possible.
The SEI mission is to provide the best source of education, training, and information resources to the specialty automotive equipment industry.
The four areas that SEI will focus its efforts on are:
- Product training
- Personal development and professional skills improvement plans
- Certification programs
- Outreach/partnership programs
Benefitting the Supply Chain
For manufacturers, the program introduces a unique marketing and training avenue that reaches jobbers and retailers who may not know about their products. It means less travel and broader reach. Most importantly, it guarantees instant access to new product releases, technical bulletins, news, and sales promotions. For jobbers, retailers, and installers, it’s one-stop shopping – product information from multiple manufacturers in one place, always accessible, organized and delivered in a way that markets and educates at the same time.
SEI Today & Tomorrow
SEI is an essential part of the education initiative at SEMA. We invite you to get involved in training now; take advantage of the most extensive offering of educational seminars, presentations and roundtables in the history of the SEMA Show. And remember: this training isn’t necessarily about getting degrees and certificates. We’re all about industry people talking to each other—helping solve the problems you have today!
