10+2 = New Filing Requirement for ALL Companies Importing Products to the US Now in Effect

Importing product into the U.S. just became more complicated and costly due to a new Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulation. The Importer Security Filing (ISF), which is commonly known as the "10+2" initiative, as it requires importers to supply 10 pieces of data (and shipping companies another 2 items) marks the first time importers are required to communicate with CBP regarding incoming shipments.
