Sales revenues in the German automotive supply industry continued to grow in 2005, rising by 4% to US- $ 90 billion. This was mainly due to overseas business, which increased substantially, and to the continuing trend towards vehicles with higher specifications. In 2005, sales revenues from foreign business increased by 6 % to US-$ 38 billion, while sales by domestic firms reported a 3% increase to US-$ 51 billion.
