Marking Fiat's return to the United States in more than 28 years, the 500 subcompact has a combined city/highway gas mileage of 33 mpg. In terms of size, according to the Associated Press, the Fiat 500 fits between the ’11 MINI Cooper hatchback and the ’11 Smart fortwo.
