    SEMA-model legislation to create a vehicle registration and titling classification for street rods and custom vehicles and provide for special license plates for these vehicles will be considered by the Ohio Infrastructure, Homeland Security and Veterans Affairs Committee. Introduced by State Representatives John Hagan and Kenny Yuko, the measure defines a street rod as an altered vehicle manufactured before 1949 and a custom as an altered vehicle at least 25 years old and manufactured after 1948.

    SEMA Manufacturing members are invited to participate in Toyota's upcoming Measuring Session for the top-selling Corolla S and Matrix XRS. Cameras are allowed. Both of the vehicles made their world premieres during the 2007 SEMA Show. The 2009 Toyota Corolla represents the 10th generation of the perennial favorite.     BIG WINNER: Damion Gardner was fast all weekend in winning the 22nd annual Chili Bowl Midget Nationals Saturday night at Tulsa Expo Raceway. Gardner also won Friday night’s preliminary program.
