MRC Information

What is MRC?

The Manufacturers Rep Council (MRC), a council of the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) is dedicated to addressing the challenges facing this segment of the automotive aftermarket and to developing effective strategies for dealing with industry-specific issues.

Who Makes Up MRC?

All automotive aftermarket manufacturers representatives and agents should be members of MRC. In fact, it is critical that as many companies as possible become involved. Once in MRC, members work through subcommittees to focus on the group's educational and communications needs, as well as on image, membership and legal advisory issues

What Are MRC's Goals?

MRC's primary objective is to provide a forum for manufacturers representatives for the purpose of increasing their impact as an industry exploring issues of common interest and concern, increasing their collective knowledge and elevating the overall image of the profession. MRC directs its efforts toward addressing key industry issues, developing strategies and programs designed to meet the special needs of manufacturers representatives and communicating with its members via a bimonthly newsletter.
